The Eagle Write Up in Friday's Paper

Brazos Christian Middle School 30, Snook Middle School 6: Ben Schams had 102 yards rushing, including a 61-yard touchdown, for the Brazos Christian School Eagles (2-3) in a 30-6 win over the Snook Bluejays. Schams also grabbed an interception and returned it 52 yards for a score.
In the third quarter, the Eagles' Cooper Owen had a 41-yard touchdown run. On defense, Owen recorded six tackles, two for a loss, and had a fumble recovery. Michel Kahil led the BCS defense with eight tackles, while Will McCurdy and Ryan Baron both had six. John Gillett had a fumble recovery.
Eric Lucas closed out the scoring for the Eagles on a 20-yard touchdown run. McCurdy ran in two PATs and Gentry Gayle ran in one.
In the second quarter, Vincent Miller punched in from the 4-yard line for the Bluejays. Gregory Rivera led the Snook rushers with 58 yards.
Brazos Christian plays at Waco Texas Christian Academy on Thursday.
